The Many Unique And Unforgettable Florida Vacation Ideas

The main reason for booking a vacation is to make memories with loved ones, and in order to do that, the location to which you travel must be memorable. There are many places to choose from, of course, but few locations have attractions that can be enjoyed by all age groups. Look at all the Florida vacation ideas to see how other vacation hotspots pale in comparison when it comes to the events and attractions.

Everyone who travels to Orlando absolutely must experience Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. They are probably the most popular parks in the area and flaunt attractions themed with your favorite films and characters. There are rides, dining, and shopping to please all, no matter if you are a rollercoaster person or a thrill-seeker. At night, there are always events and performances occurring, so vacationers could happily spend multiple days in these resorts.

Sea World should also be at the top of the must-see list of vacationers, no matter what the demographics of the group may be. Never again are you likely to have the opportunity to see such world-class shows with killer whales and dolphins and really feel up-close and personal with the animals. In addition, there are toddler areas and the entire experience is educational, so parents are sure to love it.

To get even more personal with your favorite members of the underwater world, it is imperative that travelers check out the Discovery Cove. It provides access to unique hands-on experiences such as shipwreck snorkeling excursions and swimming in pools with bottlenose dolphins and tropical fish. On the land aspect, visitors can come face-to-face with the most rare, tropical, and colorful of birds and even feed them their meals!

Do not forget about Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, either. You do not have to be a future astronaut to find the activities at this location amazing. Where else can visitors meet with real astronauts and see rockets takeoff? Educational and certainly unique, Kennedy is just a short drive away from all the other Orlando attractions, and is definitely something that should make its way into the traveler’s itinerary.

There is such a diverse array of things to do in Orlando, there no question that it is a place everyone should visit at least once in their lives. No matter what a person’s interests may be, there are Florida vacation ideas that will entertain them and leave them with unforgettable memories. Learning and hands-on experiences are among the best ways to bond with families and friends–not to mention, the weather in the area is beautiful!

Kissimmee Vacation Homes in Orlando

One of the most popular vacation destinations in the world is Orlando, Florida. A huge reason why so many people visit this part of the world is because of the Walt Disney World resort and its theme parks. Walt Disney World resort is the world’s largest recreational resort and is located in both Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee.

Kissimmee is located on the southern part of the Disney complex and it’s here that you’ll find most of the areas vacation rental homes. There are many advantages for renting a vacation home in Kissimmee but number one amongst them is the ability to enjoy a luxurious yet affordable vacation. The second reason is the fact that you are just moments away from enjoying the Disney experience as well as all the other local theme parks such as Sea World and Universal Orlando, not to mention all the other attractions that the area has to offer.

A stay in a vacation home is simply a far more luxurious vacation than compared to staying in a hotel. The home is far more inviting and has much more space than the typical hotel room or suite. You can relax in private without worrying about noisy neighbors, you have your own private pool to splash around in and you have an element of privacy that you just can’t get at a hotel.

Most vacation rental homes are conveniently located in quiet residential communities but just moments from the main area theme parks. A Kissimmee vacation home offers many perks that a hotel simply cannot. Things such as large screen TV’s, separate bedrooms, games rooms, home theaters, and two or maybe three large living areas top the list.

Cost is also a major consideration and if you are traveling with a large family then putting them up in several hotel rooms can get very expensive. Depending on the size of your family, you can rent a house with three bedrooms, or more, for around the same price of one hotel room and it is certainly a far better option than trying to cram everyone in to one hotel room. Just imagine the convenience of not having to wait for your turn to use the bathroom or watching what someone else wants to watch on TV as vacation homes usually have TV’s in each bedroom.

One major drawback of hotels is the fact that most hotel pools are situated outside in the open air and that means you may soon be the target of annoying insects or bugs. Each vacation rental house comes with a screened in lanai and pool area that prevents annoying pests from attacking you and this means all the family can enjoy relaxing and unwinding in comfort.

A fully functioning kitchen is also another benefit of vacationing in a rental home. Going out for every meal soon gets tiring not to mention very expensive. Vacation homes give you far more options than a hotel with a solitary restaurant that opens when the hotel says it will open. Naturally, you might fancy a lie in one morning and a kitchen allows you to eat what you want, when you want to eat it so there’s no missing breakfast. In fact, it’s just like being at home as you can get groceries from local stores and enjoy the feeling of being home away from home.

Vacation homes are also great places to come home to after a busy day at a theme park or visiting some local attraction. Sometimes you might just fancy a quiet night in and nothing can be better than ordering a pizza or cooking a sumptuous meal for the ones you love at the end of a busy day. Each vacation home is usually equipped with everything you might need for cooking and baking and preparing a meal on vacation is just one way to involve the whole family and have some fun.

Talking of family fun, most vacation homes also have a whole host of amenities that include cable TV, DVD players, broadband internet, video game systems, pool tables and a whole lot more for all the family to enjoy. Sometimes you may find that you’ll just not want to go out and that you just want to enjoy a day at home. Vacation home rentals really do give you lots of space to move around and live in and it’s not uncommon to feel like a King or Queen in a palace when you take a vacation in a rental home.

In fact, those that choose to vacation this way rarely go back to hotels afterwards so if you haven’t stayed in a vacation home before, this really is something you need to look into before your next trip.

Three Benefits Of Choosing Orlando Vacation Homes

Vacation houses and villa rentals are now becoming the top preference by many vacationers, in terms of accommodation in Orlando, Florida. Those who love to see the famous attractions as manifested by Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort and Sea World would opt to stay in vacation houses nearby the attraction sites. Indeed, the availability of vacation homes in Orlando truly gives way to millions of vacationers to avail the best accommodation offers. Group travelers, particularly those with their families are the ones who benefit much from the presence of these houses and villa rentals around the city.

Depending on your budget, needs and preferences you can start looking for the right vacation home to stay. Here are three of the essential benefits you can get from staying in a vacation home on your Orlando visit.

1. Large space for the entire family. Compared to hotels, vacation homes offer plenty of bedrooms and large space, good enough to accommodate everyone in the family. Vacation homes also provide you with an ambiance that is closely similar to your own home. They are all equipped with complete facilities and services to meet the needs of the family abode. All these are rendered for the comfort of you and your family while enjoying a great vacation in the city.

2. More private and secured. Everyone seeks for privacy and peace after the busy day. A complete privacy can only be achieved by having your own room where you can rest well and sleep. This is one good feature of vacation homes that are not available in hotels, especially if you are with your families and friends. Given with plenty of individual rooms, you can be on your own, relax and get ready for another exciting adventure the next day.

3. Saves you money. Having a vacation in Orlando is typically expensive. You will have to spend for almost everything. For you to enjoy the attractions at the parks, you would have to pay for admission tickets. Good thing there are special offers made by some rental agents as part of the so-called vacation packages that are offered to those who choose to stay in certain vacation home rentals. This includes discount tickets, freebies and lower rates that help you save money on your Orlando visit. Vacation rentals are also equipped with complete kitchen facilities for you to cook your own meals. So, you and your family would not need to spend money from eating out at restaurants.

The abovementioned benefits of staying in a vacation home in Orlando are just few of the factors that will help you obtain the best of your vacation experience. Be sure to get the right accommodation first, and every good thing on your Orlando vacation shall follow.

Vacation In Floridahotel Or Disney Villa, Orlando Villa Or Florida Vacation Rental

Are you are looking for all the comforts of home but with all the services provided by a good standard hotel. Have you ever stopped to think how wonderful it would be if you could have all of this ?

Well it really is possible by staying in a Florida private vacation villa. Try searching for “FloridaSunTime.com” on Google, and you will find a multitude of Disney rental homes that will provide everything you are looking for. A fabulous “home from home” far away from all the other holidaymakers in a hotel.

Next time you are planning a vacation, please take a look at all the wonderful homes that are available to rent. We spent quite a few years staying in hotels, and then one year we hired a Disney World rental home. We have never stayed in a hotel again. To my family, this is the only way to have a fantastic holiday. You really do get the best of both worlds.

There are of course several types of Florida vacation villas in many locations in and around the Orlando area. They vary in size from 1 bedroom condo’s (sleeping 2) up to 7 bedroom villas (sleeping up to 16). Most vacation villas will have a private pool, some will have a spa and/or a games room. Some also look out over open spaces or golf courses. It really does depend on what you personally are looking for, but rest assured all will have the creature comforts that a hotel cannot hope to provide, and surprisingly at a very reasonable cost.
Like my wife and I some years ago, I am sure you will be thinking that these Florida vacation villas will cost an extortionate amount of money and they are only for the rich. Not so. Most Disney World rental homes are priced very reasonable and most families will be able to afford them. If you look closely at the prices, you will find that they are in fact very reasonable compared to a good quality hotel.

Disney villas can accommodate a variety of people, not just single families but groups of friends and relatives. They have king bedded rooms, queen bedded rooms, double bedrooms, twin and single bedrooms, all just waiting for you to come along and have your dream Disney World vacation.

The best part though is actually splitting the cost down by person to arrive at what you will find is great value. Some homes can cost as little as $10 per person per day. For example, in low season, a four bedroom home sleeping up to 10 will cost around $700 per week including pool heating. That is $100 per day, equaling just $10 per person. A good quality hotel room for 4 will cost around $60 per night, equal to $420 per week. As there are 10 of you, you will need 3 rooms making a total of $1260 OVER twice the price of a villa.

We have all heard of the expression “location ,location, location”. Well, you will often find that in a hotel, that “location” will mean close to a major road or intersection as this brings in the most income for the hotel.
This is fine until it is time to “turn in” at night and then you are kept awake by all the traffic noise from outside. A very thick pillow or ear plugs are often the best remedy.

The best part about Disney villas and villas in Florida is that they are nearly always located in quiet suburbs with very little traffic but are still close to all the attractions (Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios etc), Our own home is located in a “dead end” with minimal traffic and is therefore ideal for families with smaller children. In many cases they will be in beautifully landscaped, resort style communities that may even have a view or a lake or conservation view. If you are a family that likes these communal developments, they can range from very quiet and simple community lounges through to fully equipped lifestyle resorts with large communal swimming pools, man made beaches, fully equipped gyms, spa, cinema, children’s play areas.

Most Florida villas will have a very high level of facilities including private pool, large comfortable living areas, dining areas, fully equipped kitchen, garage, televisions, dvd player, laundry facilities, internet access etc.

One of the best parts about taking a holiday in the many Disney villas that are available is that within a few hours, you feel just like you are a home. You begin to unwind and then your vacation really starts. After a tiring but enjoyable day in the parks, come home, go for a dip in your own pool, get a beer from fridge (or make a coffee), then curl up on the sofa to watch a favourite dvd. You can really escape from it all.

If you haven’t yet tried this alternative to a hotel, then please give the many villas in Florida a try. We can assure that you will not be disappointed. You will have the vacation of a lifetime without having to share it with hundreds of other holidaymakers sharing the hotel. You have vacation home all to yourself.
